East Midlands Wedding photographer, in Rutland
I live in Rutland and so, am an East Midlands wedding photographer. Taaa daaa! Pleased to meet ya! I was born and bred in London (well, technically Essex) and moved to Rutland in 2014. My husband and I literally threw a pin on a map and moved to where it dropped! It's a pretty place and worlds apart from where I lived in London. I love it here, love the calm, love the landscape and love how I can get anywhere in the East Midlands so quickly. It beats London traffic big time (apart from when I get stuck behind a tractor).

My Crew…
I live in a fairly normal house with my far from normal husband (don’t tell him!) & two very loud children. I have an incredibly inquisitive boy and a real chatterbox of a girl (have no idea where she gets that from). My son totally blows me away with his curiosity and intelligence & my daughter definitely cracks us all up as the resident family clown. I could not live without any of these people here, they are my world. To tip the balance into crazy even further, we recently added a black Labradoodle into the mix.
Before life as an East Midlands wedding photographer
I was a primary school Deputy Headteacher in Essex and incredibly dedicated to this profession. I gave it my all. But when my kids came along, my life totally changed, as it does. Photographing my children growing up re-ignited the passion for photography I had from when I was a child. A friend asked me to photograph her family and my new career began from there. I now photograph weddings, families, small businesses and theatre production and shows in and around the East Midlands.
I wish I started years ago because I love what I do!
Fun Facts about me because nowhere does there exist a whole page just ABOUT ME, so I will use up all the space dammit!
♥ I was a contestant on 'The Chase' in 2019. One thing off the bucket list ticked off!
♥ I don't like the combination of balloons and kids because I never know when the kids are gonna pop them & I hate that bit.
♥ I have travelled a fair few places in the world. The last count was 90 cities in 23 countries.
♥ I spend most days of the week convincing myself or someone at home there is a reason to celebrate with cake
♥ When people blow 'raspberries' it hurts MY lips. I get a weird annoying vibration sensation in my lips.
♥ I am a huge Harry Potter fan. Every wedding helps my Harry Potter World visit fund. Accio holiday!

It’s such an honour to be chosen as someone's badass wedding photographer. To be invited in, hang around the main stars all day, documenting it all. I am so lucky to have couples who laugh a lot, who place personality above tradition. Their day reflects them. Their day allows the guests to have fun and their day means there will be plenty of photographs to tell their story.
And, of course, weddings are usually in the abundance of my absolute favourite food group... CAKE! Cake is soooo delicious, I’d happily skip a meal and replace it with a slice of cake. Easy, peasy, lemon drizzle pleasey! So there ya have it, I photograph weddings because of all the cake & laughter!
